Before I share the contents of the e-mail here, let me catch you up on a few things--such as we have a brand-new website now (designed and maintained by a very nice and talented guy named Hemant Baidwan -- somebody whom I'll be talking more about in the near future). When you click on the hyperlink in the message I'm posting, you'll be able to see it!
IYN has certainly taken off bigtime and shows no signs of slowing down!
I have so much to catch you up on -- hopefully, having time to do this over the next several days.
For right now, here's the mailing -- and do feel free to join the party, even if you arrive a few days late!
Here we go...
WooHoo, Everybody!!!
Here in Anderson, Indiana USA, it's already celebration time! It won't be much longer before it's celebration time out on the West Coast, too--as in San Diego, California USA!!!
Celebration of what?
Celebration of the 67th birthday of Russell T. Hartsaw, founder and chairman of Invisible Youth Network!
For any of you receiving this message who are interested in joining in the celebration, I'm going to give you some special ways to do so!
If you want to send Russell a birthday greeting, only send Riversongs e-greetings because, ever since his computer got a virus after he opened up an e-greeting sent from elsewhere, this is the only kind of e-greeting that he will open.
Or, you can just send him a nice e-mail at his address:
invisibleyouth@gmail.com
and let him know that you're thinking of him.
One thing that I know he'd really enjoy is receiving donations to IYN, and you can go to the following page:
http://invisibleyouth.webs.com/donationcenter.htm
to find out about different areas of donating.
You'll find PayPal buttons there with details about where each one leads to, and you'll also find our wish list.
If you decide to give cash donations on May 14, make them appropriately-festive by donating in one or more of the following amounts (note: Don't let the BIG amounts throw you! I've just added them in case some of the people receiving this have won the lottery or something and can afford them) that go along with his birthday, age, and year of birth:
$5.14
$19.41
$67
$514
$1941
If you would like to send out a box of the items on our wish list (Remember: All items must be new instead of hand-me-downs!), drop Russell an e-mail to let him know that you've sent it. Have the postmaster where you are stamp a nice, big May 14, 2008 postmark on it!
Let's make this May 14 one that Russell and the kids he helps will never forget!
One more thing: two members of his furry family, Rascal (beagle + other ingredients) and Mutsky (sheepdog), have adopted his birthday as their own, so don't forget to wish them a happy birthday as well!
Thanks, in advance, for coming to this virtual surprise party!!!
