Chapter Thirteen -- A Progress Report

Chapter Twelve--An Open Letter...To Whom?...To YOU, If You're Reading It!!!

I hope that this note finds you doing well and looking forward to celebrating whichever holiday(s) and/or special occasions you celebrate during this month (for me, that's Christmas and my birthday--55th this year!--; birthdays and other events of the very special people in my life; and a very special celebration of the college graduation of my "adopted" kid brother and computer guru, Mark, who will be receiving his 4th degree!) and that you'll be looking forward to the brand new slate known as 2008 that makes its debut at the midnight ending December 31 and starting January 1.

I'm sending this message in a lot of different directions--starting with those people on my friends list at Care2 and going with a share at the same place. After that, I'll send it out to people in my address book of my main e-mail address. After that? Who knows!?!

Likely, I'll turn it into a blog-entry and share the url to it in a few more directions!

So, what's all of the excitement about?

It's about making sure that everybody knows that the Care2 community representing IYN (short for Invisible Youth Network) is, for the most part, up-and-running, and all it needs now is participation--which is where you come it.

If you're a member already, you're already there and just need to add your thoughts. If you aren't already a member (membership is free), I hope that you'll join. Either way, you can find important details by going here. One more thing: If you're already a member, why not see how many friends you can invite to join us.

Although membership in our community is absolutely free, we can always use donations for our various projects--and every dollar helps!--so, for those who are interested, here is a page where you can find out more information re: that.

Finally, before I sign off, I've been working on a website of which I'm pretty proud. It's still under construction--in fact, it's one of those websites that will always be a work-in-progress because something new is always going on there--but there's still a lot to see, so, please check it out.
